We would like to introduce ourselves:

Bonnie and Mike Rose both hold Real Estate Brokerage licenses in the State of Texas. Each has over thirty years experience selling the Texas Hill Country. Mike received his Sales license in 1975 and his Brokerage license in 1976 and is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors and the Austin Multiple Listing Service. Bonnie received her Sales license in 1976 and her Brokerage license in 1978 and is a member of the Austin and San Marcos Boards of Realtors and the Austin Multiple Listing Service.

Bonnie and Mike moved to Dripping Springs from Austin in 1977 for the purpose of selling real estate and raising a family. The decision to move to Dripping Springs was a good one since the community offers relaxed Hill Country living, easy access to the amenities of Austin, and an excellent public school system. Mike and Bonnie Rose have two children, Patrick Rose and Laura Rose. Patrick is a 1997 graduate of Dripping Springs High School, a 2001 graduate of Princeton University, and a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. He is currently serving his third term as State Representative from District 45 (Hays, Blanco, and Caldwell Counties), is employed with the Ratliff Law Firm in Austin and is a licensed Realtor with Rose Real Estate. Laura is a 2004 graduate of Dripping Springs High School and graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio in May of 2008.  Laura interned at the Center for Child Protection in Austin during the summer of 2006 and interned at Edelman during the summer of 2007. During the fall of 2006, Laura enjoyed studying abroad in London at Queen Mary University.  Laura is employed by Edelman and works in the public relations field.  Mike, Bonnie, Patrick and Laura are members of the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church where Bonnie and Mike are Sunday school teachers.

Before entering the real estate profession, Bonnie Rose worked in state government and private industry, having graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and the University of Texas at Austin with a Masters Degree in Social Work. Before entering real estate, her work experience was in the field of criminal justice. Bonnie has served as President of the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce, President of the Austin Oak Hill Rotary Club, and Charter President of the Dripping Springs Rotary Club. Additionally, she has served on various Chamber and School District committees, including serving as a past Treasurer for the Educational Foundation of the Dripping Springs Independent School District. Bonnie has also served on the Building Committee for the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church.

Mike Rose entered the real estate profession in 1975 with a background in state government and education. He graduated from Southwest Texas State with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Mike has ten years experience working in Texas public schools where he taught economics, government, and golf. He also worked four years for the State of Texas in medically related fields. Mike was a member of the Downtown Austin Rotary Club, including Vice President in 1986. He has also served as a past Treasurer of the International Golfing Fellowship of Rotary. Mike has been a member of the Dripping Springs Lions Club where he served as Treasurer from 2002 to 2007.
